After over two decades as a Human Resources executive at several global organizations within the technology, professional services, consulting, and staffing industries, Lauren started Akai Consulting with the goal of bringing her HR expertise to small and mid-market companies.
Throughout her career, she successfully created an employee-oriented, customer centric, high-performance culture emphasizing diversity, goal attainment and superior workforce optimization. Known for her strategic thinking, collaborative approach, and ability to deliver results in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Lauren is committed to driving HR excellence and empowering an inspired workforce to achieve business success.

Lauren received a BA in Liberal Arts from Marymount Manhattan College and an MS in Human Resources Management & Organizational Development from New York University. Lauren also has her PHR (Society of Human Resource Management Certified Professional) certification.
